Most Wanted Employer 2026 – Vector Ranks 16th in the IT Category

Vector has been named a “Most Wanted Employer 2026.” In the overall ranking, Vector ranks 156th out of more than 400,000 employer profiles on kununu. In the IT category, Vector’s ranking is even higher: 16th place.

What does this mean in concrete terms? Vector is now among the top 200 employers in Germany—in a ranking based on employee reviews. That makes us proud. And above all, it makes us grateful. Because this award shows that many employees value Vector as an employer, recommend it to others, and share their experiences. It is precisely this feedback that makes the ranking particularly valuable.

A heartfelt thank you goes out to the Vectorians who, through their kununu reviews, provided insights on topics such as career & salary, company culture, work environment, and diversity. Your feedback highlights what makes Vector stand out as an employer – and provides us with valuable inspiration to become even better simultaneously.

The ranking is organized by the ZEIT Publishing Group and kununu. The goal is to identify Germany’s most popular employers. To this end, more than 400,000 employer profiles on kununu were analyzed. Only companies that met certain minimum criteria were considered, including:

  • German kununu employer profile
  • A score of at least 3.5 stars (out of 5) on kununu.com
  • A recommendation rate of at least 70 percent
  • At least 80 employee ratings, and at least 8 from the last 12 months
  • A minimum employer rating of 3.5 – both overall and for the average rating from the last 12 months

Several criteria were weighted to determine the final ranking of the 1,200 most popular employers. The recommendation rate and the review score over the past 12 months carried particularly heavy weight. The number of reviews over the past year was also taken into account.
