If there is no suitable vacancy advertised at the moment, you can also send us an unsolicited application and convince us of your competence. Please use the special form for Graduates and Professionals. As a student, please apply directly for a specific job.

You will receive an automatic confirmation of receipt in any case (sometimes this is sorted into the spam folder, please check this if necessary). Please contact us if this did not arrive.

Your documents will be processed as soon as possible. In most cases, this works without delay, unless someone is on vacation or is unavailable for other reasons. The check of your application documents takes place in two stages. First, our HR department will check your application to see if it matches the respective job profile. Afterwards, the relevant department will assess whether you will be invited to a (first) interview on the basis of the pre-selection made. If we have any further questions about your application or need additional documents, we will contact you.

Usually we will give you an initial reply after 1 to 2 weeks. In the case of a favorable response, this can be an invitation to a first meeting, or we will let you know that you unfortunately do not match the requirements profile or that we currently do not have any suitable positions for unsolicited applications.

If you find an invitation to a first interview in your inbox, that means that our curiosity has definitely been piqued. Then we would like to get to know you, your career progression, and your goals better. Depending on the position and department, we conduct one or two interviews. During the interviews, you will get to know your recruiter and at least one member of the department. Often, the initial conversation takes the form of a telephone interview lasting approximately one hour. The telephone interview has the advantage of taking up less of your time. Usually we can quickly find a date that works for everyone.

We attach great importance to an authentic atmosphere. To ensure that you also obtain a clear picture of Vector, the first interview is often followed by a second meeting to get to know each other. We’ll usually contact you at least one week before the scheduled interview to arrange a meeting. By not later than the date we send you the invitation, we will also inform you whether the interview will take place at our premises or as a video interview, and we will also let you know who will be present at this meeting.

Through a mock-up of your work, a tour of the prospective workstation, or interaction with potential colleagues, we both get a good idea of whether the requirements of the job and your skills are a good match. This interview usually takes approximately two hours. Of course, we will reimburse you for any travel expenses you may incur in this regard.

We usually make the hiring decision two to three days after the interview. You and Vector are a 100% match? Perfect. Then you will receive an offer with a detailed explanation of all general conditions and the possibility to clarify all open questions. Now all that's missing is your signature and you're part of the Vector team.
