Or are you more fascinated with advancing broad and diverse issues? Whatever your preferences and capabilities are, at Vector we will work with you to ensure that they are developed and utilized. That's why we don't offer off-the-shelf personnel development – it's tailored to each employee. The linchpin here is the annual employee review. It serves as a platform for dialogue between you and your manager. Here, together, you'll take a close look at all facets of your development at Vector. And then the (development) stone starts rolling.

In addition to transparency in development opportunities, the system also focuses on equal performance remuneration for specialist and management functions. This puts us a big step ahead of other companies where “real” careers with corresponding rewards are only possible in management positions. So with us, there is also movement in the specialist career path.

Our development program at a glance
- Personal development prospects: Development paths give you transparency and orientation for your development – whether as a technical expert or as a manager.
- Diversity of learning opportunities instead of a one-fits-all approach: What is your favorite way to learn? Through workshops, e-learning, webinars, seminars, lectures, one-on-one training, coaching, or something else entirely?
- vGrow: More than 200 training sessions per year take place in the well-equipped internal training center vGrow. The special design of the interiors, which includes various plants, organic shapes on the walls and flexible furniture, allows you to get away from the daily work routine and get involved with something new.
- Learning by doing: Job rotation, foreign assignments, interdisciplinary and interdepartmental projects, joint experimentation and implementation of new ideas.
- Share your skills: We share our knowledge – and we are happy to do so. Via wikis, knowledge bases, but preferably in person. Internally, there is mentoring and our colloquia, which are an integral part of our work. Externally, we participate in committees. Our principle: Share in the diverse experiences of others, climb the learning curve, and gain inspiration for your own tasks.
- Mutual feedback is welcome: Openness as a principle applied to our Vector Leadership Feedback and regular employee reviews. Here you also have the chance to contribute your ideas, impressions and suggestions for improving our way of working or collaboration.
