A Passion for IT Since 1988
For over 30 years, we have been the partner of manufacturers and suppliers in the automotive industry and related sectors in the development of technology for the mobility of tomorrow. Starting as a 3-man start-up, we have grown into a global company with over 4500 employees in 32 locations and a rock-solid financial base.
We Take Responsibility for Our Future
A large part of people’s lives is taken up by working. So it's all the better if you can identify with your employer – even beyond the day-to-day work. It's a good feeling to know that your employer is supporting important projects in the areas of research, education, social commitment and climate protection. That’s great, right?
What does that specifically look like at Vector?
In 2011, the founders of Vector placed their company shares in the hands of a family foundation and a charitable trust. “Many have contributed to the success of our company. That's why many people should share in it.” This is the guiding principle of the Foundation's founders. A portion of the company's profits flows into the Foundation, which then support charitable projects in the areas of research, education and social commitment. In 2024, 94 million euros of funding in total was exceeded – and we are very proud of that. But not only that: With the Foundation as a basis, Vector is independent and assured a good future, and this also means that we can base our strategic actions solely on the expectations of our customers.
Sustainable Commitment
Vector is a global IT company and at the same time an employer of more than 4500 people at its locations throughout the world. This means that we bear a large responsibility for our employees, the market, the environment and society as a whole. And because we take this responsibility very seriously, we act on it – every single day. In all our activities, we always keep an eye on long-term, sustainable and social development.
Sounds good? Then find out here about Vector's extensive commitment to social issues, the enviroment and education.
