Perfectly Prepared To Launch a Career With the AUTOSAR Certification

As part of the “Certified Embedded Associate” certification program, over the course of a week students attending Vector’s Summer School learned the basics of AUTOSAR Classic and gained initial practical experience with our basic software and the DaVinci toolchain. The certification – which is recognized throughout the industry – perfectly prepares students for starting out in their careers.

The Summer School is our latest format for cooperating with universities. It was held in Regensburg for the first time this year. Congratulations to everyone who successfully completed the “Certified Embedded Associate” certification program. In addition to the Vector Summer School, we offer selected universities the opportunity to incorporate the content we teach in the certification program into their curriculum. So students in their Master’s semester have the opportunity to obtain our CEA certificate while they are still studying.

Vector Certified Embedded Program for Industry Partners

The purpose of our certification program is to qualify engineers to support challenging AUTOSAR projects. AUTOSAR is a standardized software architecture for electronic control units (ECUs) in the automotive industry. Employees’ expertise is a decisive competitive advantage for vehicle manufacturers, suppliers and service providers alike.

The program is split into two certificate levels – the “Vector Certified Embedded Associate (CEA)” and the “Vector Certified Embedded Professional (CEP)”.

1. Vector Certified Embedded Associate (CEA):

The CEA program is aimed at beginners and provides basic knowledge of Vector’s basic software and the associated tools. It is designed to provide young engineers who are keen to pursue a career in embedded software development with the most important basic knowledge of AUTOSAR.

2. Vector Certified Embedded Professional (CEP):

The CEP program goes into far greater detail and enables engineers to become experts in the use of Vector software. The focus is on advanced skills and experience and is aimed at engineers who are involved in integrating and configuring the basic software.
