Vector India Donates Two Hemodialysis Machines for Low Income and Underprivileged Citizens in Bengaluru

Vector globally helps shaping social values through its extensive involvement and attempts to reduce the social risks facing the general public. In line with its values Vector Informatik India, a 100% subsidiary of Vector Informatik GmbH has undertaken initiative to donate 2 hemodialysis machines towards free dialysis treatment of citizens from weaker section of society residing in Bengaluru.

Vector India has collaborated with Bangalore Kidney Foundation (BKF), a leading non-profit organization in Karnataka state, for supporting less privileged citizens suffering from renal failure and kidney diseases towards their dialysis treatment. Vector India has donated two hemodialysis machines to BKF which will provide the expensive treatment for such citizens at heavily subsidized rate, thereby ensuring the necessary care is provided.

“Vector incorporates social issues into its business decisions, and we have always tried to actively contribute towards social welfare and societal needs through our various initiatives. The dialysis treatment is a regular requirement for those suffering from serious kidney ailments and is often very expensive for citizens from weaker sections of the society. This contribution of machines from our end will ensure that the low-income residents will receive the care of a nominal administrative charge” said Mugdha Vartak, Head – HR, Vector Informatik India.

The entire project was planned by Vector India’s Corporate Social responsibility (CSR) committee in collaboration with Bangalore Kidney Foundation (BKF). BKF is a leading non-profit organization in the State of Karnataka, dedicated to the awareness, prevention and treatment of kidney disease benefiting a large number of patients from marginalized sections of society and their families.
