After years of successful cooperation between CSM Computer-Systeme-Messtechnik GmbH and Vector Informatik GmbH, CSM is now part of the Vector Group. Space for 230 Vectorians in Regensburg

In the direct vicinity of University Regensburg and University of Applied Sciences OTH, 600 Vectorians now work in Regensburg on embedded software for the automotive industry.

Job Entry at Vector - in Chemnitz
On May 1st, the acquisition of BASELABS, a Chemnitz-based software specialist for sensor data fusion, has given us an additional Vector nucleus for embedded software. Students had noticeably great interest in the initial on-site events such as the TUCconnect with excursion to the location and the IT talent forum.
Third Place in Golem’s Ranking of It Employers
Golem.de identified the best employers for IT specialists in a major survey. 13,700 respondents took part in the survey, and around 4,500 were included in the final evaluation. Vector came in third place in the overall ranking, and performed even better in some of the individual categories.
Children Discover the World of Programming During Code Week
Vector once again took part in the Baden-Württemberg and Bavaria Code Week by holding programming workshops for children between the ages of 10 and 14. The young inventors built small robots with the Calliope mini and programmed games such as “Rock, Paper, Scissors” and “Catching Drops”.
Smart Charging During Working Hours
In order to offer as many customers, guests and employees as possible easy access to the charging infrastructure for their electric vehicles, Vector has greatly expanded the number of charging stations at the Vector Campus in Stuttgart-Weilimdorf. Currently, 212 charge points are already available at the headquarters. In the other locations, another 200 charging options will be available from 2024.
Perfectly Prepared To Launch a Career With the AUTOSAR Certification

60 New Daycare Slots for Employee Childs
By building a childcare center, Vector expand the childcare options at the company’s location in Stuttgart-Weilimdorf. The new facility is planned to open in September 2024 and will offer a capacity of 60 childcare slots. Sustainability in the construction methods used and a feel-good atmosphere for children are the main focus of the project.

“The starting line is here, and the finish line is over there. And you need to race to it.” What sounds simple resulted in sweat and overworked muscles during the half-marathon race. A tremendous, happy feeling of accomplishment overtakes you as soon as that finisher’s medallion is placed around your neck, as confirmed by the 33 Vector employees who tackled the 21.0975 kilometers at the Stuttgart race on May 21, 2023.
Vector Tech Playground: Insights & Innovations
Over 50 students attending the “Vector Tech Playground” in April and May walked away with in-depth practical insights. Culinary Test Winners: Stuttgart and Regensburg Vector Canteens Rank Among Germany’s Best
Among the 50 best canteens in Germany, the two CANtine sites have stood at the top of the culinary winners’ podium a number of times in 2022: 3rd place for the Stuttgart outlet in the large canteens group with more than 300 meals per day. In the ‘Pleasure’ category, Team Stuttgart defended its first place from the previous year. And the new Regensburg CANtine made it straight into the top five in all four categories evaluated: Pleasure, Responsibility, We-feeling and Health. Unbureaucratic Donation Saves Lives of COVID-19 Patients During Pandemic
The Klinikum Stuttgart has received a funding commitment from Vector for an urgently needed ECMO machine to treat patients severely affected by COVID-19. The Klinikum Stuttgart already owns three ECMO devices, but with these alone it is not possible to care for the large number of mainly young COVID-19 patients in the 3rd wave. In order to be able to save the lives of these people, another ECMO device is urgently needed.

On Your Marks, Get Set, Startup: Third Master Class Gets Underway With 12 Teams
Following the brilliant finale of the second master class at Vector, master class number three began on April 3, 2020. The 26 participating teams from 18 different universities from all over Baden-Württemberg contended virtually for one of three prizes and a ticket to enter the master class. There’s No Place Like Home, or Vector at the Home Office
To support measures for slowing the spread of the coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2) and the COVID-19 illness, Vector employees have been working entirely at home since March 16. Mobile working was introduced at Vector long before the pandemic, and different models provide flexibility and ensure personal freedom. We also consider the possibility of mobile work to be an important component of effective work.
