Third Place in Golem’s Ranking of It Employers

Golem.de identified the best employers for IT specialists in a major survey. 13,700 respondents took part in the survey, and around 4,500 were included in the final evaluation. Vector came in third place in the overall ranking, and performed even better in some of the individual categories.

Children Discover the World of Programming During Code Week

Vector once again took part in the Baden-Württemberg and Bavaria Code Week by holding programming workshops for children between the ages of 10 and 14. The young inventors built small robots with the Calliope mini and programmed games such as “Rock, Paper, Scissors” and “Catching Drops”.

Smart Charging During Working Hours

In order to offer as many customers, guests and employees as possible easy access to the charging infrastructure for their electric vehicles, Vector has greatly expanded the number of charging stations at the Vector Campus in Stuttgart-Weilimdorf. Currently, 212 charge points are already available at the headquarters. In the other locations, another 200 charging options will be available from 2024.

60 New Daycare Slots for Employee Childs

By building a childcare center, Vector expand the childcare options at the company’s location in Stuttgart-Weilimdorf. The new facility is planned to open in September 2024 and will offer a capacity of 60 childcare slots. Culinary Test Winners: Stuttgart and Regensburg Vector Canteens Rank Among Germany’s Best

Among the 50 best canteens in Germany, the two CANtine sites have stood at the top of the culinary winners’ podium a number of times in 2022: 3rd place for the Stuttgart outlet in the large canteens group with more than 300 meals per day. In the ‘Pleasure’ category, Team Stuttgart defended its first place from the previous year. And the new Regensburg CANtine made it straight into the top five in all four categories evaluated: Pleasure, Responsibility, We-feeling and Health. This makes the Regensburg site the overall test winner among small canteens.

Unbureaucratic Donation Saves Lives of COVID-19 Patients During Pandemic

The Klinikum Stuttgart has received a funding commitment from Vector for an urgently needed ECMO machine to treat patients severely affected by COVID-19. The Klinikum Stuttgart already owns three ECMO devices, but with these alone it is not possible to care for the large number of mainly young COVID-19 patients in the 3rd wave. In order to be able to save the lives of these people, another ECMO device is urgently needed.
